I’ve been watching the various Star Trek shows for a while now, and while not finished I saw most of them, I believe. And I cannot shake off the feeling that the messages given by these shows, especially (and almost exclusively) recent ones are pushing horrible morals that most people seem to not care about....
I watched DS9 and learned a little about empathy, honor, duty, peaceful reconciliation, fitting in (Odo), friendship, etc… It seems those messages didn’t resonate with you at all.
They are excellent negotiators and traders. If you need something like an ionized plasma channel or even a prototype phase cloak, the Ferengi can find it for you.

I suppose there is room for interpretation in “homemade.” I feel like if someone did the cooking themselves, then it qualifies. Store bought or only a microwave reheat would not qualify.

The article describes it as "the official end of the battle," which seems an overstatement to me, but it's the certainly the end of the initial phase....

They've started to DDoS Lemmy for a while, which is a Reddit thing to do and what they're notorious of doing whenever they feel they don't like...
I watch TV while eating, because TV takes my mind off the textures of the food and helps me dissociate from eating. I also have a very active imagination and ability to immerse myself in a show...
Since remastered versions of DS9 and VOY aren’t happening any time soon, I think the next best thing should be a SD-BD release, kinda like how Discotek Media are doing with some old anime titles...
I saw someone on Reddit wondering why the community was so sure of Trek going dark again with Paramount not doing so well financially. Seeing the response was unfortunate as most people feel that it might be a bad time for Trek. And I guess it makes sense with the Hollywood strikes as well....
