Spring Potential Energy

Say a dissolvable spring is compressed with a bolt and nut that do not melt in a sulfuric acid solution. The spring has quite a bit of potential energy at this point since it is compressed. Assuming the spring dissolves perfectly (no breakage, just complete disintegration), what happens to the potential energy of the spring?

I would imagine that as the tiny bits of the spring are released from one another, the stored energy would be released as a small force within the acid. That is, even if the reaction was perfect down to the molecular level, the new molecule combination would be "launched" away from the spring more vigorously than if the spring weren't compressed. So you'd end up with the acid being "stirred" a bit by the reaction.

Yeah, kinda like breaking a handful of dry spaghetti (sorry Italians).

$35 seems way under minimum wage. If I'm sending my kid for a whole day, they gotta be paid at least $12/h.

Me: Hi there, I’d like to apply for a loan for a new restaurant.

Bank: Okay, so you have a business plan?

Me: Yes, here it is.

Bank: Hmm… it says here under employee compensation, “slaves LOL” - what does that mean?

Me: Oh, haha, I’m gonna pay them pretty much nothing.

Bank: …get out of my bank.

Why do we accept shitty business plans that would otherwise get laughed at?

Do you think potential candidates should be reimbursed in some form for taking assessments that are required by the employer in order to be considered for employment?

Also, should this be available for only job candidates who are not considered for the position?

Or should it go for every job candidate, even the ones that get the position?

Thanks for reading and being your most precious and sensual self ❤️.

I’ve helped with hiring before, and I’ve never needed to do an assessment to gauge whether someone was right for the job. Within about 10 minutes of conversation, it’s pretty easy to tell where they’re at.
