People just business shit post there all day, huh?

extant ,

What else is a CEO supposed to do, work?

RizzRustbolt ,

It's like a less transphobic Tumblr.

givesomefucks , in Leave some degrees for the rest of us

What's crazier is the Twitter guy acting like he was taking a risk...

If I was the applicant and I found out about this, I'd 100% start applying to a new company.

You might get the job, but no one is going to listen to you.

Edit:

Or does LinkedIn look like Twitter now? I never used it so assumed it was Twitter and the screenshot was linked in profile

SatansMaggotyCumFart ,

Yeah that's LinkedIn.

You can tell because it's as crazy as Twitter but not quite as racist.

lamabop ,

And less porn (for now)

SatansMaggotyCumFart ,

LinkedIn would do well with a couple buttholes.

ElderberryLow , in Leave some degrees for the rest of us

This person’s LinkedIn account is real but they’ve also written a book about getting into all the top programs, they’ve been a CEO of their own company since 2013, and been on other boards. You can find him pretty quickly in the comments on that post.

“Product lead at Roblox”

So… monetizing modules children made for free? Isn’t that like the whole thing with Roblox?

MorgoFett ,

Just found out about this. Hella sad.

brewery ,

Same here, wtf!

Stoney_Logica1 ,

I think you’d be surprised how many are made by adults with the exploitation of children in mind.

Piecemakers3Dprints ,
@Piecemakers3Dprints@lemmy.world avatar

The vast majority are made by children, however, and the model itself is designed for expressly this. Whether adult-aged children also engage with said model is less a condemnation of those individuals and more a merit of the system itself working better than intended, given that this era offers multiple sources for that exploitable demographic. Sickening, sad, and deplorable, yes. Call it what it is, though.

I think Nike has a sponsorship on there lmao

FMT99 ,

You kind of know there has to be a product team there, you’d just think no one would admit to being part of it publicly.

I don't know about them formatting, but the content is positive. You should hire people without bullshit 'experience' requirements

fckreddit ,

I have seen the exact same post posted by multiple people in LinkedIn and it is posted only for farming reactions and followers. They didn’t truly do this.

sepiroth154 , in This might qualify as Instagram poetry

A true Mask off post. They're admitting that experience is BS, and that they only accept people based on feelings and not qualifications.

fckreddit ,

But, the current system helps them pretend that it is objective. It’s like meritocracy, it only exists in theory, not in practice.

Spacehooks , in This might qualify as Instagram poetry

Noooooo must have 500 years of experience! Also it's entry level.

HootinNHollerin , (edited ) in This might qualify as Instagram poetry

I don’t understand how this has anything to do with Instagram

In case you don't know about Instagram poetry, it's very memeable because a lot of examples are just regular sentences with random line breaks, much like this LinkedIn post

julianh , in A good leader always farts first 💨

I mean I kind of get the metaphor and appreciate the idea of being the kind of leader that people can feel comfortable around, but there's got to be better ways of expressing that.

lastunusedusername2 ,

Farting is a metaphor for when you actually fart.

Gullible ,

Would you have read it all the way through otherwise? I wouldn’t have.

Zorque ,

Depends on how you define "better".

More polite? Sure. More relatable to a wider audience? Honestly, probably not. Everyone farts. And those who don't are dirty dirty liars.

Swedneck ,
@Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de avatar

everyone farts? not anymore!

MEND BUTTCHEEKS

tuckerm , in A good leader always farts first 💨

I was expecting the twist to be that fart was an acronym. Like:

Fess up
Admit mistakes
Reassess direction
Time-bound

A good leader is willing to have a F.A.R.T. discussion.

beefbot ,

Them who S.M.E.L.T it D.E.A.L.T. it!

EmoDuck ,

Fess up

I shat my pants

Admit mistakes

I thought it would just be a fart

Reassess direction

I should probably not go to that meeting right now

Time-bound

I have 90 seconds until that shart starts to leek out of my pants
